As Shift Team Leader, you will realize and monitor the production objectives for the assigned plant in the short term (8-24 hour results) in terms of quality, quantity, and costs, in line with the site strategy. The role: As Shift Team Leader:

• You lead the progress, monitoring, and optimization of the execution of the production plan.
• You coach, motivate, and develop employees, ensuring a good working atmosphere within the team. You conduct performance reviews and are responsible for the correct staffing of the team.
• You contribute to increases in results, team development, process optimization, and cultural changes.
• You oversee the quality of the product, processes, and QHSE performance. You inform and instruct employees regarding QHSE rules and regulations and take the required safety measures.
• You act as a company expert in emergencies. You issue work permits and act as a supervisor if necessary.
• You contribute to input for the annual plan and translate the annual plan into operational implementation plans.
• You are part of the management team of the Monomers factory along with your fellow Shift Team Leaders.

Role and department

As Shift teamleader monomeren you are part of the supervising team of the monomeren site in Delfzijl. You will be doing this together with several colleague Shift teamleaders.
You will be managing, monitoring progress, and implementing and optimizing the production plan. You are responsible for motivating and coaching your employees and fostering a pleasant atmosphere within the team. Performance reviews are also part of your duties. You contribute to the annual plan and ensure compliance with safety measures.

Your profile

To be eligible for this challenging position:

• You have at least a relevant completed MBO4 education and perform at an HBO level.
• Additionally, you have at least 5 years of relevant work experience and possess extensive knowledge of applied chemical process technology.
• You are a strong interlocutor for all stakeholders and play a connecting role in this.
• You think in processes and improvements and are a team player capable of operating at various levels.
• You have excellent communication and social skills and possess leadership abilities.
